Applicability Fuels and Engines
Fuels:
ChemEcol has a range of combustion enhancer additive technologies. ChemEcol has products designed for applications from liquid to solid hydrocarbon fuels. Current applications include diesel, gasoline, marine bunker fuels, heavy oil (power station applications) with products for coal and aviation fuels coming soon.
ChemEcol is excited with the developing trades in bio-fuels (fatty acid methyl esters and bio-ethanol). ChemEcol has thus ensured the applicability of both Additone and AddGX to these technologies. In bio-diesel we have seen significant reductions in the inherent high NOx emissions.
ChemEcol has the capability to tailor additives for specific applications based on customer requirements and specification.
Engineering:
ChemEcol's Additone EC-1500 diesel additive has been proven in all diesel engines from single cylinder low speed engines through high speed light vehicle power plants, heavy duty transport engines to large plant and generation units. Billions of road miles have now been covered by Additone treated diesel vehicles.
ChemEcol's AddGX has been developed to improve the combustion process in all gasoline fueled vehicles. The treatment technology is suitable for all gasoline fueled engines.
ChemEcol's AddMX has been developed for the marine bunker fuel market place. The additive treatment is applicable to any marine fuel at all grades in all marine engines.
ChemEcol's AddHX has been developed for oil-fired power stations with the goal of reducing acid dew and other noxious emissions. These have been proven to improve the longevity of boiler and flue components.
Current projects include additives designed to improve combustion and efficiencies in coal and other solids. We have also been developing a combustion enhancer for jet and other aviation fuels. These products are to be developed with industry partners to continue our tradition of universal applicability and reliability.
